WHAT:
This event is limited to a small group of 8 men. At times, the group will be divided further into small groups to allow each man to tell some of his own life’s story. Two significant issues will be addressed:

The reality of who we are through a deeper understanding of our stories and strategies of control.

The redemptive power that God has provided us through His truth and a band of brothers uniquely united together in fighting for freedom to be all they are created to be to find their destiny in God’s kingdom.
We will also view and discuss. two full-length motion pictures; experience strategic teaching and story-telling in both large and small groups; and enjoy outside activities.
WHERE:
Bogue Chitto State Park in Louisiana. You will carpool from Temple Baptist Church. You will receive a letter a few weeks prior to this strategic weekend with additional details on what to bring and what time to arrive at Temple Baptist Church.
MEN WRESTLE WITH:
The courage to lead out of their true identity. The desire to be known. Making sense of their tragedies. Finding a purpose. Guilt, shame, and anger. Trusting others and trusting God. Isolation and loneliness. Spiritual weariness or complacency. Unrealized dreams. Embracing their unique destiny.
THIS WILL BE A REMARKABLE WEEKEND WHERE MEN GATHER AND JOIN TOGETHER TO DISCOVER THE PATH TO THEIR DESTINY.
MEN WONDER:
Where does he go and what does he do when the demands of life seem overwhelming? What happened to the innocence he once enjoyed? Does he have what he needs to handle all that is required of him? Is there something important he was created to do?
