What to Wear?

We will supply you with a Community Picnic volunteer lanyard on Sunday morning. We will also have Community Picnic shirts available to purchase for $10. Lanyards can be picked up Sunday morning, June 30, or at the 

When to Arrive and when to leave?

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your shift and please do not leave until your relief has arrived.

  • Is there a cost for the picnic?

    • Admission, music, and bouncy houses are FREE. The only cost is for food from the vendors.

  • Do I have to attend Temple church services to attend the picnic?

    • NO! The picnic and fireworks are a gift for the community.

  • What time are the fireworks?

    • The fireworks begin around 8:45 when the sun goes down.

  • Can I set up a tent at the picnic?

    • You may set up a tent. The spots are first come, first served. We do reserve some spots for our Sunday school classes to use.

  • Can I bring my own food and drinks?

    • Yes, you may bring outside food and drink. You can also purchase food from the food trucks on site.

  • Are dogs allowed?

    • Dogs are allowed, however, please have your dog on a leash and pick up after them.

  • No Tobacco/vaping/smoking.

    • Our campus is alcohol and tobacco free, we ask that you please respect our policy.

Please familiarize yourself with the location of where you will be serving. Also get to know the layout of the picnic so you are able to help answer questions are guests may have.
