What is Easter about?

Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion, symbolizing victory over sin, death, and the promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus.

After being crucified and buried, Jesus rose on the third day, just as He said He would. Jesus willingly died on the cross, paying the ultimate penalty for our sins, so we could be forgiven and restored to a relationship with God.

When Jesus rose from the dead, He fulfilled God’s plan to bring salvation and hope to the world. His resurrection shows victory over sin and death and offers the promise of new life and eternity with Him.
