COACH

Each year we need Godly men and women who will take up their towel to reach the next generation for Christ through sport. Every year in the fall and spring we’re looking for men and women who will coach in our youth flag football and basketball leagues. If you have a heart for the gospel and sports, then this is the spot for you.

Apply Here!

REFEREE

We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to serve as referees in our church youth sports league. As a referee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fair play, sportsmanship, and a safe environment for all participants. Whether you have prior experience in officiating or are new to the role, we welcome individuals of all skill levels to join us. For more info, please email our recreation pastor Ben Beasley at

CAMP VOLUNTEER

Are you eager to share the joy of sports while also spreading the love of Christ to young hearts? We’re thrilled to call for volunteers to participate in our upcoming 5220 sports camp, where we aim to make a difference in the lives of young athletes, both on and off the field. As a volunteer, you'll have the incredible opportunity to not only teach sports skills but also to share the message of Christ's love and grace. Camp volunteers are required to be 16 years of age or older. For more info, please email our recreation pastor Ben Beasley at

SPORT CAPTAINS

Are you passionate about sports and the Gospel but prefer not to coach or referee? Don't worry; there's still a meaningful role for you! Consider becoming a sports captain at 5220.  At 5220 we offer a wide range of recreational and sport options, from adult basketball and pickleball to disc golf, volleyball, and more. Naturally, our staff is unable to be fully engaged in every area, and that's where sport captains come into play (pun intended)!

We are actively seeking individuals who will serve as ambassadors for Christ and Temple Baptist Church in these recreational areas. As a sports captain, you'll work closely with the Recreation Ministry to lead, organize, and cultivate joy, inclusivity, and spiritual growth in our sports programs, making a difference for the Kingdom. So, if you're eager to combine your love for sports with your faith and positively impact our community, we encourage you to step into this fulfilling role and become a sports captain with us! For more info, please email our recreation pastor Ben Beasley at
