Position Overview: As a College Life Group Leader, you will have the privilege of guiding college students in their faith journey, facilitating Bible studies, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for deep discussions and spiritual growth. This volunteer role is vital in building a strong spiritual community on campus. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Bible Study Facilitation: 
  • Plan and lead engaging Bible study sessions that cater to the needs and interests of college students. 
  • Select relevant Bible passages or topics for discussion. 
  • Encourage active participation, questions, and open dialogue within the group. 
  1. Mentorship and Support: 
  • Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to group members. 
  • Offer emotional support and a safe space for students to share their experiences and concerns. 
  • Pray for and with group members, promoting a culture of prayer and reflection. 
  1. Community Building: 
  • Foster a sense of belonging and community within the Life Group. 
  • Organize occasional social and service-oriented activities to strengthen relationships among members. 
  • Promote inclusivity and diversity within the group. 
  1. Communication: 
  • Maintain regular communication with group members regarding meeting times, topics, and any relevant updates. 
  • Collaborate with the college's campus ministry team and provide feedback as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • A strong commitment to your Christian faith and a passion for sharing it with college students. 
  • Good knowledge of the Bible and the ability to effectively lead discussions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Empathy and the ability to relate to the challenges and experiences of college students. 
  • Reliable and dedicated, with the willingness to commit to the group's regular meetings.
