Roles & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position: Discover Temple Check In

Responsibilities:

  • Greet attendees as they arrive for the Discover Temple membership class.
  • Check in attendees using the church's check-in system.
  • Provide attendees with name tags and any necessary materials.
  • Assist with set up before the class, including arranging chairs and tables as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to use a computer or mobile device for check-in purposes.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Time Commitment:

  • Attend all Discover Temple membership classes, held once a month.
  • Arrive early to set up and stay late for any necessary clean-up.

Benefits:

Position: Discover Temple Table Host

Responsibilities:

  • Greet attendees as they arrive for the Discover Temple membership class.
  • Sit with attendees during the class, engaging in conversation and fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Listen to attendees' testimonies and provide a supportive and encouraging presence.
  • Assist with any logistics during the class, such as distributing materials or helping with group activities.
  • After the class, follow up with attendees to answer any questions they may have and to provide further information about membership at Temple Baptist Church.

Qualifications:

  • A committed member of Temple Baptist Church who is familiar with the church's mission, vision, and values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen actively and empathetically.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Time Commitment:

  • Attend Discover Temple membership classes bi-monthly
  • Arrive early to set up and stay late for any necessary follow-up.

Position: Discover Temple Set-Up Team

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange the room earlier in the week before the Discover Temple membership class.
  • Set up tables, chairs, and materials according to the provided layout.
  • Put together booklets and other materials needed for the class.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for attendees.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and move furniture and materials.
  • Attention to detail in arranging the room and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Time Commitment:

  • Set up earlier in the week before each Discover Temple membership class, held once a month.
  • Arrive at the designated time and complete set-up tasks efficiently.
