Position: Sunday Morning Photographer

Overview: At Temple Baptist Church, we believe in the power of storytelling through photography. We are seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for photography to join our volunteer team. If you love carrying a camera wherever you go and capturing moments, this is your team! As a Photography volunteer, you'll be able to capture the moments and stories at Temple that tell a greater story of what's happening within our church family. 

Responsibilities: 

   Sunday Services: 

• Capture compelling images during Sunday services, including worship and preaching. 
• Highlight the atmosphere and fellowship of our congregation. 
• Take professional portraits of church members, staff, and volunteers for promotional materials or new members at Discover Temple. 

   Photo Editing: 

• Edit and enhance photographs using photo editing software to ensure high-quality images. 

• Prepare images for use in various church publications and digital platforms. 

  Photo Archiving: 

• Organize and maintain an organized library of church photographs for easy retrieval and historical reference in SmugMug. 

  Collaboration: 

• Work closely with the Communications Coordinator and other volunteers to meet the photography needs of the church. 

• Ensure alignment with the church's visual identity and branding. 

Qualifications: 

• A passion for photography and a creative eye for capturing meaningful moments. 
• Proficiency in photography equipment and techniques, including digital cameras and editing software. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups. 

• Flexibility to attend events on weekends and evenings as needed. 
• Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity when handling church-related content.

   Photo Archiving: 

• Organize and maintain an organized library of church photographs for easy retrieval and historical reference in SmugMug.
