Adult Bible Fellowship Leader

Position: Bible Fellowship Leader

Overview: The Bible Fellowship Leader plays a key role in leading and overseeing the overall vision, direction, and growth of the Bible Fellowship (BF) ministry within our church. This individual is responsible for championing the vision for BF, Groups Ministry, and the church as a whole. They will work closely with the Groups Pastor and other church leaders to ensure that the BF ministry aligns with the mission and values of the church. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for developing and sharing their spiritual gifts with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow in personal love relationship with Jesus through the development and sharing of spiritual gift/s.
  • Champion the overall vision for Bible Fellowship, Discipleship Ministry, and the church.
  • Meet regularly with the Discipleship Pastor for support, guidance, and accountability.
  • Develop a leadership team committed to the success of the BF ministry.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to keep members accountable, plan events, and discuss strategies.
  • Lead the BF team in understanding and achieving the goals and objectives of good BF work/organization.
  • Conduct opening or closing sessions each Sunday to connect the lesson with the overall emphasis of the church.
  • Ensure all guests are contacted the week following their initial visit, preferably through personal contact by class members or leaders.
  • Lead your BF team in prayer for special needs within the BF and the church.
  • Plan and coordinate upcoming Sundays, including fellowship, serving, and outreach events.
  • Commit to training and planning events and encourage other leaders in your BF to participate.

  • Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and organizational skills.
  • Ability to cast vision and inspire others to action.
  • Commitment to personal growth and development as a leader.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other church leaders and members.
  • Understanding and alignment with the beliefs, values, and mission of the church.
